FAQ
Questions, answered.
Everything you need to know about the notes, delivery, purchasing and sessions.
The notes
What do the notes contain?
Each set summarises the 2026-27 LSO Licensing Material for its subjects in plain English, using structured bullet points, clear headings and consistent formatting. Each product page lists the exact subjects covered and shows sample pages.
Can I print the notes?
Yes. Your purchased notes are provided as PDFs, which you can print for your personal study and exam preparation and take into the actual exam centre. This allows you to highlight key points, add handwritten annotations, and organize the notes in a way that works best for you.
Should I use the notes alongside the official LSO materials?
Yes. The notes are designed to complement the official LSO materials by simplifying complex concepts and organizing information into an accessible format. They can help you review the content and locate key information efficiently, but the official LSO materials remain the authoritative source for your examination. Always review any updates or corrections issued by the LSO for your exam cycle.
Can I share the PDFs with others?
No. Each purchase is for the purchaser’s individual use only. You may download and print the notes for your own preparation, but you may not forward the PDFs, upload them to shared folders, make copies for others, redistribute them, or resell them. Anyone wishing to use the notes should purchase their own copy.
What is the difference between the Barrister and Solicitor notes?
The Barrister Exam Notes cover Civil Procedure (including timelines), Family Law, Criminal Law, Professional Responsibility (including notes on the by-laws) and Public Law. The Solicitor Exam Notes cover Professional Responsibility (including notes on the by-laws), Business Law, Estate Law and Real Estate Law. Professional Responsibility is included in both sets.
What is included in the Complete Bar Exam Bundle?
The bundle includes both the Barrister and Solicitor note sets in one package, for $160 CAD.
Can I buy notes for a single subject?
Yes. Each of the 8 subjects — Civil Procedure, Family Law, Criminal Law, Professional Responsibility, Public Law, Business Law, Estate Law and Real Estate Law — is available separately for $30 CAD each.
Previews & delivery
Can I preview the notes before buying?
Yes. Every study document has a preview of its first pages on its product page, so you can see the format before you purchase.
How are the notes delivered?
The notes are digital PDFs. Once your payment is verified, a secure download link appears on your confirmation page and is sent to your email. Your purchases also remain available in your customer portal.
Purchasing
Do I need to create an account to buy?
No. You can check out as a guest with your name and email address. Afterwards, you can sign in to the customer portal with that same email to access your purchases again.

All prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD), and the full cost is shown before you pay.

Subject Tutoring ($85 CAD, 60 minutes) focuses on explaining challenging concepts, working through examples and strengthening your understanding of specific subjects.
